Lan George is the founder and CEO of Reachstrong Media, and the Creative Director of BWS Creations. Lan's public service is extensive. She is an Arroyo Grande City Councilmember, and has served on the Planning Commission as Chair/Vice Chair, Architectural Review Committee, Community Services Grant Committee, and various local organizations. She serves on the boards of FCFA and Community Action Partnership SLO County, is a Childcare Liaison with We Are The Care, a Visit SLOCAL Advisor and member of the South County Chamber of Commerce.

In order to expand educational opportunities for youth without broadband access at home during the COVID pandemic, Lan initiated and implemented the Reach 2 Teach program to bring free wireless service to parks and local businesses.

Lan is a YPAR (Youth Participatory Action Research) mentor. In 2022, she brought the first annual State of Youth Mental Health Symposium to SLO County, bringing forth the voices of local youth to community leaders in policy, education, non-profit, and business.

Lan earned her B.S in Graphic Communications from California Polytechnic State University.
She lives in Arroyo Grande with her husband. Together, they have raised 3 children.
